After a decent Champions League draw earlier today, we now have confirmation on when the games themselves will actually be played. Arsenal's European voyage will take them to Croatia, Greece, and of course Germany, because god forbid we go a year without facing a Bundesliga team. Here's the wheres and the whens:
16 September: Dinamo Zagreb (A)
29 September: Olympiacos (H)
20 October: Bayern Munich (H)
4 November: Bayern Munich (A)
24 November: Dinamo Zagreb (H)
9 December: Olympiacos (A)
Notable matches include at Zagreb right before Chelsea away, Tottenham Hotspur away and oddly-competent Leceister away, then home to Olympiakos immediately after. Arsenal also host Bayern between a home game against Watford and a trip to play Everton at Goodison Park. Then we have this stretch: away to Swansea, away to Bayern, home against Tottenham, all in a week's span. The final match in Piraeus is between what should hopefully be winnable matches against Sunderland at home and at Aston Villa.
Here's the full list of fixtures for all teams, if you're curious.
