Arsenal played fine Sunday, but were unable to convert any of the few chances they were able to create as they failed to score without Mesut Özil running the show. But, after some late heroics from Aaron Ramsey and Petr Čech on the goal line, Stoke City were also kept goalless and the match ended in a less-boring-than-you-would-guess-but-still-kinda-dull 0-0 draw.
There was some back and forth play, and pleasantly Stoke were up to their recent billing as "not the old kind of Stoke," seeing as we were able to get through the game without anyone getting shot at or stabbed. Joel Campbell continued his recent run of good form, and honestly I think I'm already out of things to say about that match. There really wasn't a lot of note there.
The one point from this draw brings Arsenal back to the top of the league, again leading Leicester only on goal difference. We're a point up on Manchester City, five up on Tottenham, and seven up on Manchester United. We're also nineteen up on our next opponent Chelsea, for those who are keeping track. Hopefully that will grow to 22 after next weekend.
