Arsenal have been drawn to face Southampton at the Emirates Stadium in the third round of the League Cup, which will be played on either September 23 or September 24. Given the amount of games Arsenal have already played and its proximity to Champions League fixtures and the North London Derby, Arsenal's reserves and youngsters could make up a big part of the squad, meaning we could see the likes of Gedion Zelalem and Hector Bellerín.
Southampton, of course, have less demands but will still likely play many graduates of their academy, some who might come up against former teammate Calum Chambers. With the amount of young talent likely in store for the fixture, it sets to be an entertaining one, and as Arsenal usually make tickets £10 for these games, accessible as well. It's also certainly a winnable tie, and would be nice to see Arsenal banish some bad memories of recent League Cup exits.
