Manchester United makes an approach for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez

hehehe yeah ok

Jose Mourinho has tossed his hat into the Alexis Sanchez ring this month by submitting a £25 million offer to Arsenal along with a gently-used, often-injured Henrikh Mkhitaryan, so says the Guardian.

As many have previously said earlier today, there are many things complicating this specific deal from occurring, namely that Arsene Wenger - already over a barrel in having to sell a guy of Alexis’s stature - would never work with Mourinho, and Mkhitaryan’s wages having that sweet sweet Manchester United inflation.

For over a year, signs and stars have aligned and pointed at Alexis one day joining Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, and the odds he would rather ditch this long-held plan of his to instead link up with one of the most uninspired, impotent tacticians in the sport across the town from everything he has probably dreamed about for months seems preposterous at best.

I would say there’s more to come with this, but there really isn’t. If Alexis leaves this month, one of the last clubs possible that can afford to sign a player like him is United.
