Arsenal’s Premier League opener didn’t go as hoped. I think I’ve said all I have to say about that in the recap, comments, and on TSF Twitter. And remember, there are 37 more league matches for the Gunners. It’s a long season.
There is a full slate of action today, and if you want, you can spend most of the day glued to the television watching football. That isn’t a bad day in my estimation.
7:30 am ET - Manchester United vs. Leeds, NBCSN
10 am ET - Burnley vs. Brighton & Hove Albion, Peacock
10 am ET - Chelsea vs, Crystal Palace, Peacock
10 am ET - Everton vs, Southampton, NBCSN
10 am ET, Leicester City vs. Wolverhampton, USA
10 am ET, Watford vs. Aston Villa, Peacock
12 pm ET, Norwich vs. Liverpool, NBC
None of those matchups leap off the page, but United-Leeds is historically a nasty rivalry. Everton-Southampton and Leicester-Wolves are interesting mostly because I’m curious how all of those teams are going to look this year. And it’s the first week, so you can say that about all the clubs.
Enjoy the football and have a nice chat in the comments.
