Arsenal left it late to punish Manchester United. The visitors were dominated for the best of 25 minutes but scored on a counter with a great strike by Rashford and took the advantage for 33 seconds, the time that was needed for Odegaard to score himself with a very good shot. A spot kick was awarded to Arsenal but taken back for very mysterious reasons. Saka missed a wonderful opportunity to score. The visitors had started to monopolize the ball in their own half, and waited patiently until a long pass found Garnacho who scored but VAR showed that he was offside by the length of his hair flocks while big Gabriel shifted enough to allow Garnacho's hair line to be offside. Deep in extra time, a Saka corner landed beyond the fast post near Rice who blasted the ball in the net via a small deflection by Evans. Deeper in extra time, Vieira sent Jesus through who sat Dalot on his arse then scored around Onana. The best team won without even playing their best football. This is the first win by more than one goal for the Gunners this season.
