Happy Friday, TSF. It has felt distinctly like fall these last few days in D.C., and this morning it was in the low 50’s when I took Gunner for a walk. I’m glad that the heat seems to be gone, and I welcome the cool, crisp autumn weather.
Fall is a fantastic season, an underrated one, I think. People love to talk about warm spring weather coming out of the cold months, the fun in the sun of summer, and the snow-lovers enjoy winter. But fall seems to...fall by the wayside. No more. Let’s give fall its proper due. Bring on the apple picking, pumpkin-spice everything, changing leaves, and everything else. What are your favorite things about autumn?
Apologies for the late-ish CF today. I’ve been having issues with one of the case fans for my computer. It was clearly on it’s last legs and rattling around quite annoyingly. I was trying to stopgap fix it until the new one arrives this evening but was unsuccessful. Fortunately, it seems as if the fan has stopped working entirely. Not optimal for my temperature control for the day, but on the bright side, the incredibly annoying rattling has ceased. So you win some, you lose some.
