Welcome to a new season of IKTS. The 2023-2024 season will feature two scoring schemes for all participants.

First, the usual scheme: One point for correct outcome but incorrect goal difference and incorrect result. Two points for correct outcome and correct goal difference, but incorrect result. Three points (plus one IKTS, the usual tie-breaking item) for correct outcome, correct goal difference, and correct (exact) result.

Second, there will be a new scheme: One point for putting in a prediction with an incorrect outcome. Two points for correct outcome but incorrect goal difference and incorrect result. Three points for correct outcome and correct goal difference but incorrect result. Four points (plus one IKTS) for correct outcome, correct goal difference, and correct (exact) result.

The reason for this is to encourage participants to post predictions. More than likely, the rankings will be similar if not identical, but this is a way to fight lack of interest. Also, please invite as many interested folks as possible.
