IKTS Week 37: At Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal lost Martinelli and the game, failing to score, and surrendering three sloppy goals. Leeds versus Newcastle and Chelsea versus Nottingham Forest both ended up 2-2 surprisingly. Aston Villa won 2-1 at home to the noisy neighbors. Crystal Palace versus Bournemouth and Manchester United versus Wolverhampton both ended 2-0 as expected, as did Brentford versus West Ham. A home loss for Southampton 0-2 to visiting Fulham meant relegation for the Saints. Everton got punished 0-3 at home by Manchester City, and an similar outcome and identical score befitted Leicester at home to Liverpool. Finally, the Thursday game saw Newcastle beat a sloppy Brighton team 4-1 to put an end to any hope of top four for the Seagulls.

Overall, the nine active participants combined for 98 points (for an average of 10 and 8/9 points per active participant) and there were 18 correct IKTS predictions. The eleven games for the Week ended up with five wins for home teams versus four wins by visiting teams and there were two draws. Overall, 33 goals were scored for an average of 3 goals per game.
