IKTS Week 28: At home to Crystal Palace.

Arsenal took a 3-0 lead at the break and never looked back. The goals (by Gabriel, Martinelli, and Odegaard) were all assisted by Trossard, and it could have been worse for Fulham had Leno not made a couple of decent saves. On Saturday, the early game ended is a surprising 1-0 win for Bournemouth against a Liverpool team that had just trashed Manchester United 7-0, but it is a relative surprise, especially considering how Bournemouth had lead by two goals at the Emirates before Arsenal scored three. Everton stuck to a Dyche plan and went one nil over Brentford. Leeds versus Brighton ended up 2-2 in a watchable game. Leicester lost 1-3 to an improved Chelsea team. The noisy neighbors easily beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 at home. Crystal Palace stayed in the game against Manchester City until late but Olise fouled Gundogan in the surface and Haaland converted from the charity spot. On Sunday, Manchester suffered another Casemiro red card and the game against Southampton ended scoreless. West Ham conceded once but scored once against Aston Villa in a game featuring two previous Arsenal goalkeepers. Newcastle beat Wolverhampton 2-1 after taking the advantage then being pegged back but Almiron settled the tie thanks to a Willock assist. In the Wednesday games, Brighton went one nil over Crystal Palace. Finally, Southampton could not score against Brentford, losing 0-2, with Toney scoring the first and assisting the other.

Overall, the twelve active participants combined for 116 points (for an average of 9 and 8/12 points per active participant) and there were 13 correct IKTS predictions. The twelve games for the Week ended up with five wins for home teams versus four wins by visiting teams along with three draws. Overall, 26 goals were scored for an average of 2 and 2/12 goals per game.
