IKTS Week 14: At home to Wolverhampton.

Arsenal left it really late to score on an assist to the far post by Saka headed with aplomb by Havertz between the legs of the Brentford keeper. A clean sheet means that Arsenal has the best defense at this juncture. But the game had other significant moments, including Ramsdale almost conceding twice due to a bad distribution error, resulting in an excellent goalmouth save by Rice, and then on a defensive error by Zinchenko that the Arsenal left back atoned for by saving a goal bound shot on the line. Also, Trossard scored at the end of the first half, but the goal was invalidated as he was fractionally offside.

Manchester City versus Liverpool ended 1-1, meaning that Arsenal is in first place ahead of Manchester City by one point and Liverpool by two points. But the biggest controversy this week was the very odd VAR decisions involving the Fulham versus Wolverhampton fixture.

Clever pick of the week: Only ClevelandJames had an exact IKTS prediction for Tottenham versus Aston Villa. And only Purple & Proud had a correct prediction for Luton versus Crystal Palace. There were also three exact IKTS predictions for the Burnley versus West Ham game, courtesy of ClevelandJames, billvacation, and Ray from Norfolk.

Crisis pick of the week: Only Sonny from Suffolk failed to predict a win for Arsenal at Brentford, good for 40 lashes.
