Wednesday Cannon Fodder: quiz time

It’s Hump Day! [insert GEICO camel commercial GIF here]. That means you’re halfway through another week. To celebrate, let’s do a Sporcle quiz. I think this one should be relatively easy for y’all, but you may find yourself drawing an annoying blank on some of the pictures (like me). Footballers who have played on both sides of the Atlantic.

You’re given a picture of the player (some of which feature the guy wearing a weird, photoshop blended jersey) and a club from the Americas and Europe that he played for. Some of the club choices are...strange, definitely not the ones you necessarily associate with the player, but you have a picture of them to make up for it.

I got 17/20. One was on the tip of my tongue, so to speak, and a I couldn’t pull it. One I maybe could have gotten had I thought more deeply. One I had absolutely no chance of getting but at least remembered that, yes, that guy existed when I saw his name.
