IKTS Week 5: At Burnley then at home to Wimbledon for the League Cup.

Despite a one-way performance, Arsenal only won thanks to a scrappy goal, much to the relief of many. Patrick Vieira started his reign at Crystal Palace in earnest by blanking the noisy neighbors 3-0, reinstating his domination over that bunch when he was Arsenal's Captain. Brighton left it late to win by a single goal at Brentford when a goalless draw seemed inevitable. Manchester City won by the same score at Leicester. Manchester United turned a 1-1 tie into a 4-1 victory over Newcastle. Southampton versus West Ham ended goalless in a game that witnessed Antonio receiving two yellow cards, banning him for the next game. Wolverhampton dominated Watford away at the tune of a 0-2 win. Chelsea took care of Aston Villa by the score of 3-0 and Liverpool won at Leeds by the same score, in a game that saw a nasty injury to Liverpool youngster Elliott. Finally, Everton conceded once then scored three to beat Burnley whereby Tarkowski went full Xhaka and yet escaped any punishment with notoriously partial Martin Atkinson as the main official; I am sure he followed Mike Riley's instructions when officiating both games. In addition, Ashley Barnes continued his training in his goal to switch to MMA, and he is gifted! The more I see what the PGMOL is doing and the more I wish the Superleague comes to fruition, with zero English referees. The seven participants (skinnejay was unable to post any predictions) scored a grand total of 64 points for an average of 9 and 1/7 while we had 5 correct IKTS predictions.
