Arsenal Women will begin the 2021-22 WSL campaign at home to defending champions Chelsea on the weekend of September 3rd-5th (Broadcast decisions are still to be made). The opening weekend of the WSL takes place during a men’s international football break, which means the match could take place at the Emirates, according to Arseblog News’ Tim Stillman.
Arsenal have two further league matches in September, with a trip away to Reading followed by playing Manchester City at home. All in all, it represents a baptism of fire for new manager Jonas Eidevall. Should Arsenal beat Okzhetpez on August 18th (they should) and then either PSV or Lokomotiv Moscow on the 21st of August, Arsenal will have a Champions League qualifier in the midweek before and after the league fixture against Chelsea.

Arsenal will face Tottenham Hotspur during men’s international breaks as well, meaning a possible repeat of playing Spurs at the Toilet Bowl, while hosting them at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have a run of three potentially big fixtures at the end of January and February, playing Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea consecutively, before finishing the campaign with West Ham United away.
