Arsenal broke out their new threads against Rangers.

Arsenal have debuted their second kit of preseason — the 2021-22 home kit. It’s a classic look: the Red/White/White combo. Adidas has taken us back to 1998 and 2008 with the tailored lines with additional white side paneling. The problem is if you didn’t look closely you might confuse Arsenal with Ajax at first glance with the strips.

The hooped socks are always a wonderful look, and adidas also decided to bring in more blue detailing into these kits than previous years. I truly believe all home kits are judged (unfairly) not by look but by how the team performs in them. If Saka, ESR, Partey and Co. can lead us up the table and return us to Europe and/or possibly top 4, you can bet your wallet these will be a classic home kit we’ll all want in our rotation.

If you do feel so inclined to open your wallet and have true optimism about this new season, you can purchase the new home kit here with Smith Rowe #10 on the back too! TSF promises if enough purchases are made, we’ll take a community wide poll on who to put a bid in for during the summer transfer market. We get a small portion of sales made through that link, but we will never let that influence our writing. If we think a kit sucks, we’ll tell you.

Current Kit Power Rankings:

1.) Away kit - cannon crest only is clearly the top entry here

2.) Home kit - Simple, classic, love the hooped socks, but not a fan of the side paneling.

3.) TBD - Until the 3rd kit drops, it stays here, but I expect it to challenge the away kit.
