Arsenal preseason started last week — yeah, we’re there already. Yesterday, the club started preseason camp in Scotland that will see them play Hibernian today and Rangers on Saturday in friendlies. After that, the Gunners travel to the United States to play Inter Milan and either Everton or Millonarios FC, a Colombian club, for a shot at the coveted Florida Cup. Then, it’s back home for matches against Chelsea and Tottenham at the start of August as a final warmup for the Premier League season, which opens with Arsenal against newly-promoted Brentford on August 13th.

The Gunners have most of the squad in Scotland already. I believe only Kieran Tierney, Granit Xhaka, Bukayo Saka, and Bernd Leno, who are all still on holiday after Euro 2020, are not with the team — but I’m not 100% sure on that. Per Arsenal youth expert Jeorge Bird (@jeorgebird), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Mohamed Elneny, Emile Smith Rowe, Willian, Hector Bellerin, Pablo Mari, Nuno Tavares and Omar Rekik are confirmed to be with the team. Folarin Balogun was officially promoted to the first team and will definitely feature in the preseason.

I’ll post the lineups when they’re available, if they’re even published before the match. I’ll also be livetweeting from @TheShortFuse on Twitter, like I usually do. If you’re not following us there, you should fix that. I’d like to think I’m occasionally funny there.

Who are you most excited to see play in the preseason friendlies?

Arsenal - Okonkwo, Cedric, Clarke, Mari, Kolasinac, Nelson, Elneny, Maitland-Niles, Willian, Nketiah, Aubameyang

Hibernian - Macey, McGinn, Hanlon, Porteous, Stevenson, Newell, Gogic, Boyle, Allan, Bradley, Nisbet

WHAT: Arsenal at Hibernian, friendly
WHERE: Easter Road
WHEN: Tuesday, July 13th, 10 AM PT | 1 PM ET | 6 PM BST
US TV: ESPN Deportes USA. Streaming on ESPN3 / WatchESPN. FuboTV.

The match will also be streamed on Arsenal Player through Arsenal.com, although I believe the club are charging £8 for the match, and it’s region-locked for U.S. viewers.
