Good news for those of you for whom three football matches a day wasn’t enough — the Copa America 2020 resumes play tonight, so you’ve got 5 matches to satiate you. And in case that wasn’t enough sports for you, you’ve still got NHL and NBA playoffs and the US Olympic trials. Just in case you wanted to change things up sport-wise.
Yesterday, Russia bested Finland 1-0 in an entertaining but sloppy match. Russia winning puts a great deal of pressure on Denmark to manage an unlikely result against Belgium today. Wales beat Turkey 2-0 in a fantastic match that featured the most chances in the first half of any game in the tournament so far. Wales looked like a different team, and Aaron Ramsey was much more involved, which they’ll need to continue to make a run. Finally, Italy crushed Switzerland 3-0. The Azzurri are for real — they are scary good.
Today’s matches:
Ukraine vs. North Macedonia, 9 am ET, ESPN
Denmark vs. Belgium, 12 pm ET, ESPN
Netherlands vs. Austria 3 pm ET, ESPN
Colombia vs. Venezuela, 5 pm ET, FS1
Brazil vs. Peru, 8 pm ET, FS1
The Euro 2020 matches will be streamed stateside on ESPN+ and FuboTV. The Copa America matches are on Fox Sports Live and FuboTV.
