Friday Cannon Fodder: back and better than ever

Good morning TSFers! If you couldn’t tell by there actually being a CF today, I’m back from a little break to rest and recharge the batteries. This Arsenal season took it out of me, as I’d guess it did for a lot of you. To be fair, the end of the season win streak helped a little, but the decline of the club in the post-Wenger years has been disheartening.

But never fear. My time somewhat away from the usual amount of Arsenal content I consume and produce has restored my optimism. There’s plenty of reason to be hopeful that next season will start the climb back towards where we think the club should be. And I’m looking forward to sharing those reasons with you in the upcoming season review stuff we’ve got planned for publish in the near future — we’ve got the usual stuff and maybe even some unusual stuff.

So for an Arsenal discussion topic, please share if you believe the climb back up the table will start next season or whether Arsenal will continue to lose touch with the top and why.

For a non-Arsenal topic, what’s everyone doing this summer? With an increasing number of people getting vaccinated at least in the U.S., do you have travel plans? Taking your usual summer trips? Kids heading to camp?
