The Shirt Fuse: Third Kit leak

Footy Headlines has dropped another leaked for Arsenal’s 2021/22 collection. If the leak is any indicator, this will be a massive upgrade on the current third kit and it may be the best seller of the kits to drop. Similarly to when adidas took over for Arsenal FC, they immediately drop their own rendition of the ‘Bruised Banana’ kit. It looks like that same path is being explored to bring us an adidas version of ‘Blue Lightning’ kits produced by Nike in the mid 90s.

Right now, without seeing final versions of the kits, my rankings for next season’s lineup:

1. Blue Lightning
2. Yellow away, Cannon only badge
3. Home kit

Blue Lightning has MAJOR potential to take off if executed well on the final version. The yellow away should be extremely clean look with the nostalgia factor of just the cannon on the shirt. Home kit falls into #3 based on adidas’ past two home kits being better in my opinion, but we all know eventually there is only so much you can do within a home kit for AFC.

I love the subtle ‘A’ on the shorts instead of the entire badge.
