Tuesday Cannon Fodder: swag

Yesterday, lifestyle website Nice Kicks gave us a first look at a new Arsenal, adidas, and 424 collection of apparel. The line leans heavily into black and red, which I don’t hate. It looks grittier and edgier, which I suppose is what the designers were going for with the look.

I’ll admit that I’m not the target audience for the combination of trendiness and high-fashion with football kits and apparel. Don’t get me wrong, it looks sweet and if somebody bought it for me, I’d definitely wear it. But I’m not spam-refreshing the website to get my order in. I’m not super hip, and it’s just not high on my list of important things to buy. If it is for you, more power to you. The collection looks awesome.

But that brings us to the CF discussion topic of the day (in addition to y’all’s opinions on that collection): what’s your favorite / coolest piece of team apparel? Doesn’t have to be an Arsenal piece of gear. Or if you’re like me and not at the cutting edge of fashion, what’s your go-to, trusty piece of clothing that shows your support?
