Friday Cannon Fodder: Spring is springing

The past few days in Washington, D.C. have been a bit rainy, but when the rain cleared in the evenings, it unmistakably felt like spring. Today, it’s supposed to be in the high 70’s and sunny, which has me wanting to go be outside all day.

It’s particularly wonderful that this nice weather is lining up with my mother getting her second does of the vaccine and my father getting his first. The rollout here in MD has been a bit slower than in other states, but I’m incredibly thankful anyway. That feeling of being in the homestretch of all this mess, coupled with the weather changing for the better is almost too on the nose. Like, c’mon whoever wrote this script, it’s a bit ham-fisted.
