The Gunners take on an in-form Hammers side.

Arsenal vs. West Ham should be a good one, folks. The Gunners travel across London today to take on the Hammers, pitting two of the form teams in the Premier League against each other. David Moyes’ side are legitimate European challengers, having consistently climbed the table in the second half of the season with solid defense and structured play. Arsenal have left themselves no room for error in their pursuit of European football. As was the case with the NLD last weekend, a loss today likely means Arsenal will finish behind West Ham in the table — 10 points adrift with nine to play is a tough gap to close, 4 points is easily doable.

The Gunners bested the Hammers 2-1 earlier this season, with goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah (remember when he was a regular late-game sub?). That was way back in mid-September, so I don’t set much store in that result at all; both sides are different teams now. West Ham have looked a completely different side since loaning-in Jesse Lingard in January to add another scoring threat.

Arsenal will be buoyed by the return of Bukayo Saka to the lineup; the club confirmed he is available for selection following a slight hamstring issue that forced him off in the NLD. Willian, who has a right calf problem, faces a late fitness test to determine his availability. Thomas Partey and Martin Ødegaard will likely return to the starting lineup after rotating to the substitutes bench against Olympiacos.

West Ham have a busier training room: Pablo Fornals, Ryan Fredericks, and Andriy Yarmolenko are all questionable. Arthur Masuaku, Darren Randolph, and Angelo Ogbonna are all out for today’s match.

Arsenal - Leno, Chambers, David Luiz, Mari, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Aubameyang, Lacazette
