IKTS Week 20: Arsenal idle due to outbreak amongst Wolves!

Arsenal gunned down a bunch of yellow birds, scoring five goals, and conceding none. Saka, Tierney, Lacazette, Martinelli, and Odegaard were in rich form, with the rest of the team playing good collective football, and not needing to use any high gears to annihilate the Canaries. Of course, we also had the obligatory late goal from super sub Emile Smith Rowe. There were 30 goals in the seven games for the game day, as there were three postponed fixtures due to the pandemic. Making vaccination obligatory is the only sensible way to deal with this issue. Nine (9) of the aforementioned 30 goals were scored in a single fixture, as Manchester City scored 4 unanswered goals against Leicester, who in turn scored 3 unanswered goals in the second half, only to concede 2 goals after their "remontada" failed, but one of the penalties given (the first one) may not have been given if it were an Arsenal player being fouled. Tottenham dominated Crystal Palace as Zaha foolishly claimed two yellow cards. In a very interesting game, West Ham equalized twice against Southampton, but the Saints ended up winning by scoring a third goal. Aston Villa scored first through a James own goal, but visiting Chelsea scored three unanswered goals to win easily. Brighton beat Brentford 2-0 logically. Finally, the only game after Boxing Day saw Newcastle score early, but concede in the second half, as they dominated (and should have beaten) Manchester United. Overall, the eight participants hauled 44 points (for an average of 5 and 1/2 per participant) but there were only two correct IKTS predictions.
