IKTS Week 11: At home to Watford.

Arsenal took advantage of poor defending to score two goals, but Leicester dominated most of the rest of the fixture, only to be denied by the defense with Ramsdale putting in a man of the match (or possibly player of the month) display, particularly on a top shelf save from an extremely dangerous free kick by Maddison. Burnley looked like an attacking powerhouse in their victory by 3-1 against Brentford. Liverpool went up 2-0 against Brighton but lost intensity while Brighton played admirably, responding with two goals of their own, for a final score of 2-2. Manchester City lost at home 0-2 to Crystal Palace, with Laporte picking up a red card for a foul that was almost identical to the one committed by Evans against Aubameyang. Bruce-less Newcastle lost 0-3 to Chelsea. Watford could not score at home against Southampton, who did, in a game that finished nil to one. The noisy neighbors lost at home to Manchester United, and followed this limp display by sacking in class-less fashion their manager. Norwich conceded once, scored promptly, but then succumbed to a second goal by Leeds. Aston Villa equalized after West Ham had scored first, but then conceded three goals for a final score of 1-4. Finally, Wolverhampton beat Everton 2-1, with ex Gunner Iwobi scoring the only goal for the Toffees. Overall, the eight participants scored a total of 57 points, for an average of 7 and 1/8 points, and we had a grand total of 10 correct IKTS predictions.
