IKTS Week 12: A visit to Anfield.

Arsenal should have won easily, but a missed penalty and heroics by the Watford keeper resulted into (only) a one nil to The Arsenal, with Emile Smith-Rowe scoring in what Ranieri considers to be dubious circumstances, but the way Watford fouled our players left and right with relative impunity makes the victory far from being reprehensible, and in fact quite delicious. Does Ranieri even remember how Arsenal beat his Leicester side twice the year they won the title in mysterious circumstances, while Arsenal players were being fouled left and right with impunity the whole season, with no other team beating the Foxes in the other 36 games they played? In the Manchester Derby, City won at United thanks to an own goal and another fluky goal, without ever going full gear. Brentford lost shockingly at home to Norwich who were winless until then. Another surprise came from West London, as Burnley snatched a 1-1 tie at Chelsea despite going down early on. An identical score and a similar scenario for Brighton at home to Newcastle. Crystal Palace, after a win away versus City at The Etihad, beat Wolverhampton, this time at home. The soporific game between Everton and the noisy neighbors ended scoreless. A very entertaining Leeds versus Leicester ended up 1-1. Finally, a couple of mistakes by Alison gifted West Ham a 3-2 victory in London. Overall, the 8 participants combined for only 44 points, or 5 1/2 per participant, and there was only one correct IKTS prediction.
