Katie McCabe scored for the third straight WSL match as Arsenal remain unbeaten in the league. McCabe’s superb left-footed hit gave the Gunners the lead on 32 minutes, and nine minutes later, McCabe’s corner was met by Lotte Wubben-Moy, whose header was too strong for Everton goalkeeper Sandy MacIver.

Frida Maanum scored a stunning strike of her own to make it 3-0 on 86 minutes. Winning the ball back on the edge of the area, Maanum’s powerful strike arrowed into the top left corner of the goal.

Arsenal responded to defeat in Barcelona in the Champions League by ensuring that they remain on top in the Women’s Super League. On Thursday, the Gunners play Hoffenheim at home in the Champions League, with the two likely to battle out for the runners-up spot in the group.
