Tuesday Cannon Fodder: getting there

The Arsenal men start their season this coming weekend with a trip down the road to Fulham. The Arsenal women started their season on Sunday with a 6-1 thrashing of Reading. Excuse me, that’s the top of the table Arsenal women. I guess the men are top of the table right now, too. Great time to be a Gooner!

Content this week will be mostly focused on transfer rumors with a sprinkle of season preview stuff. At the moment, the major rumors seem to be departures, with Lucas Torreira to Italy being the biggest one. There are rumblings about Emi Martinez being sold as well. The Hector Bellerin to PSG rumor seems to have lost a bit of steam with Arsenal rejecting the initial bid. The incoming rumors have died down a bit, and I expect it to continue that way. At least until Arsenal make a sale or two to generate some funds so that they can afford another purchase or two.
