Monday Cannon Fodder: we’re back!

Cannon Fodder is back, y’all. Rejoice! After a brief hiatus and with the 2020-21 season somehow right around the corner, I thought it best for us to have a place to chat about all things Arsenal. I’d noticed that you guys were having to use older articles as a place for OT discussion, and while that’s fine, it’s a good sign that a CF would still be relevant.

So, what’s on your mind heading into the week?

Pretty much every outlet is reporting that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to signing a deal. Arsenal are apparently close to signing Brazilian centerback Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille, with it possibly down to his decision between North London and Napoli.

Other than that, there aren’t any transfer rumors that really register. There has been some buzz about Alexandre Lacazette being on the move, but there isn’t anything concrete enough there to push it beyond the “we’ll keep an eye on it” level.
