Well folks, not much to share here other than disappointment. Adidas, it was good run. Year one brought us three very solid adidas produced kits and we laughed our way out of the Puma sunset towards 2019/20 Bruised Bananas, non nipple busting shirts, and clean lines. Year Two from adidas is looking to shake thing up and outright butcher our away kit.

Footy Headlines has confirmed this leak of our new away kit. Previous mockups had indicated the color scheme, but left us guessing on the Friday the 13th details.

I am going to assume this marble pattern is to reflect the halls of Highbury. I don’t ever think Arsenal needs a white shirt, especially not this cutting board, but I firmly believe a (cloud) white shirt with maroon trim (possibly a collar) would have been the more classy choice here. Experiment with third kits is how I logically want the kit rotation and design process to work. In this case, imagining Arsenal wearing this in 30-40% of their matches next year makes my heart bleed. The only saving grace is if Arsenal are to make Europa League again next season, I personally cannot wait for us to play away during group stages in some remote region in Turkey wearing these bloody kits and get absolutely murdered.
Give me some time tomorrow and I’ll have this kit photoshopped on various Halloween characters on our instagram channel so make sure to give us a follow!
