The title about says it all. Talk, banter, chat, wax poetic about whatever you want in the comments today — Arsenal-related, football-related, life-related, whatever-related. Say hello and let us know how you’re doing. We’re here, and we are probably as bored as you are.
Here’s what was on my mind when I sat down to write, prompted by a discussion with someone else (I haven’t yet reached the point where I’m having in-depth conversations with myself, thankfully) about schools switching grading to Pass/Fail this semester. We agreed that it seems like a reasonable, fair, and kind thing to do, but were playing Devil’s Advocate and trying to come up with counterarguments. We couldn’t really find any good ones.
As an aside to the conversation, I realized that the experience of living through this disease is adding a shared experience to our lives on a global scale. The pervasiveness of this particular experience is such that only things like birth, death, hunger - those things that are necessarily a part of all human lives have a more universal familiarity.
Also on my mind when I sat down to write CF — how delicious the Foco Coconut Juice I had just drank was. Foco are the ones in the white and green cans with the bits of diced coconut in them. I think I’m slowly losing it.
