Lighting the Fuse

In which I say hello, again.

Hello TSFers!

In case you missed it on Friday, our fearless leader PDB stepped down from running The Short Fuse (but should still be around in the comments and maybe even for a guest post or two later on), and I’ve stepped up. I’m excited to take charge of this great site and proud to be a part of this community about which many of you spoke so eloquently and glowingly in the comments on Paul’s piece on Friday.

I want to echo the gratitude that has already been expressed for Paul. There is a great deal that goes into running things around here that goes unseen, and he always made sure the ship was sailing smoothly. On a more personal note, he was always available to give advice, be it about something I was working on or a completely non-Arsenal related issue. He’s one of the good ones.

Back to the site. I have some ideas for new and different things for us to do that you should start to see in the coming weeks, but I don’t expect to make significant changes. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? You’re going to get all the regular posts, banter, and analysis to which you’ve become accustomed. Our commenting community is coming back and getting more active, and I hope that continues. As always, our readers are and our community is the most important thing to us, and we will keep that at the front of our minds in all that we do.

So I put these questions to you, reader. What can we improve on as a site? Is there anything that we don’t do that you think we should? What do you like most about the content? Let’s chat about TSF in the comments so that we can give you the best version of The Short Fuse.
