Despite much of the 5th Round having been postponed yesterday, the draw for the FA Women’s Cup quarter-finals took place tonight, and Arsenal have been handed a potential home North London Derby. This is, of course, dependent on both Arsenal and Tottenham advancing out of the fifth round; Arsenal play Lewes next Sunday, while Tottenham, at time of writing, are beating Coventry United 3-0 at half time. The quarter-final of the FA Cup takes place the weekend of March 14-15, following the next international break.
Arsenal have played Tottenham twice this season, beating Spurs 6-0 in a pre-season friendly at Meadow Park and winning 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Cheese Bowl in front of a record WSL crowd. They were due to play again last weekend, but with Storm Ciara hitting England, the match was postponed, and rescheduled for May 13.
The two have met in the FA Women’s Cup before, with Arsenal beating Spurs 10-0 in 2017.
