Thank you, everyone, for handling the comments on the Sergio Aguero / Sean Massey-Ellis piece in a mature, respectful way. I think we had an interesting and productive discussion. As those of you who’ve been around for a while know, we try to keep Arsenal separate from “politics” and while that incident isn’t political per se, it has the hallmarks of why we try to avoid political topics.
Y’all had an intelligent, civil discussion, which is fantastic. I’m still going to be circumspect with raising issues that flirt with our general policy to avoid potential “hot button” topics, but I have more faith that we can handle them appropriately. My hope is that events surrounding the club don’t force us into those types of situations any more frequently than they have already, but if they do, I have confidence that y’all will be appropriate.
We’ve got a great community here at TSF, and I’m happy to be a part of it.
