Arsenal v. Aston Villa: Community player ratings

Well, that was...something.

Full disclosure: I went to get breakfast at 74 minutes, when Arsenal were down 2-1 and didn’t look like they could come back from that. From now on, I’ll be going to get breakfast at the 74th minute every week that Arsenal are losing, because that clearly made the difference in the game. And they were good breakfast sandwiches, as well!

Arsenal didn’t play well, Unai Emery did himself no favors, and if it weren’t for two late moments of individual brilliance, we’d all be wondering if Emery would be locked out of Colney on Tuesday. I still think that’s a discussion to have, but he bought himself a bit of time today because points are points. But there was not a lot in today’s game to make me happy, outside those points.
