The Europa League kicks off tomorrow, and in advance of the start of that illustrious competition, Arsenal today announced the squad that’s going to be getting on the plane today:

There’s some intriguing stuff on that list. Most intriguing is someone who’s not on the list - Mesut Özil. He hasn’t played much this season, and I’m not sure whether this omission is because of rust, illness, or if it’s related to the security threats he faced earlier this summer. Either way, he’s not traveling. But Granit Xhaka is, so that’s...something.
Rob Holding, however, is traveling, as is Calum Chambers. As promised, Unai Emery is also bringing along a few of the young’uns, including Joe Willock, Emile Smith-Rowe, and Bukayo Saka, although his early intimations that he’d bring actual U21 players seems to not be the case.
What all this means for tomorrow’s actual squad is yet to be seen - Emery’s not tipping his hand. But this is a pretty robust squad, at least, so we’ll see how that translates into a game day XI.
