Reports from the BBC’s David Ornstein suggest that Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah is likely to be loaned before the end of the summer transfer window.
It seems Bristol City is leading the charge to sign the 20-year-old Englishman on a season-long spell, but other English and “abroad” clubs are also showing an interest in Nketiah.

Nketiah leaving on loan will be a good opportunity to get first team action, something he specifically mentioned was important to him during the International Champions Cup last month. From the Charlotte Post:
“It’s good, you know, preseason’s always nice for that and to give the younger boys a chance. I feel like a lot of us have had a lot of chances and a lot of game time,” said Nketiah. “It’s nice to obviously get chances and show what you can do because at the end of the day you want to be playing every week in the starting 11, so I feel like these kinds of games can help you make a case for yourself.”
With the loan move for Nketiah likely happening, Arsenal fans can expect to see new signing Gabriel Martinelli get more action in the upcoming season.
Updates to come.
