The overall mood of Arsenal fans has certainly improved recently. Two weeks ago, supporters were signing a petition expressing their frustration with team owner Stan Kroenke while using the hashtag #WeCareDoYou. Now they are singing the praises of Arsenal’s Head of Football Raul Sanllehi, who has been busy wheeling and dealing during the transfer window.
Earlier this month, the pundits were writing stories with headlines like Arsenal Has Made A Mess Of The Summer Transfer Window. At the same time, supporters were venting their own displeasure at the team’s lack of transfer activity.
By end of the window we will surely know how much money do arsenal really spend and it will surely be a litmus test for some of the ITK who claim we have cash..truth be told we cant even compete with wolves west ham and Newcastle when it comes to transfers

Emery on transfers Says "we will only sign players that improve the team". Same words that Wenger was used and the window will close and no one will sign. #arsenal #aftv

Since then, Sanllehi has brought in the following players:
- Defender William Saliba from Saint-Étienne in Ligue 1 for £26.9m.
- 18-year-old forward Gabriel Martinelli from Brazilian side Ituano £7.64m.
- Midfielder Dani Ceballos on a season long loan from Real Madrid.
Plus, in a major coup, Arsenal are about to officially unveil Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pépé who joins the club from Ligue 1 side Lille.
At the same time, Sanllehi is adding to the Gunners’ transfer budget by subtraction. A deal for want away captain Laurent Koscielny is imminent, and it’s being reported that Krystian Bielik could be sold to Derby County for around £10million. There’s also been rumors that Monaco have expressed interest in Shkodran Mustafi in deal worth £27m.
The additional funds could help push through the deal for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney and perhaps bring in additional players.
It seems that the Gunners’ faithful is feeling a bit better about the team’s prospects with Sanllehi’s work in the transfer market.

Can't wait for the announcement of Pépé. I'm so happy and excited. My club can spend 72million pounds on a 45million budget. Raul sanhelli masterclass.

There’s still ten days left until the transfer window closes. We’ll soon see if Sanllehi has any other surprises for Arsenal fans.
