Prior to the ICC matches, Arsenal took on the Colorado Rapids in Denver, CO. That’s right THE Colorado Rapids. A side primarily made up of the Arsenal Academy products rolled past essentially the Rapids’ backups 3-0.
Eddie Nketiah netted the late winner against Bayern Munich in Los Angeles as Arsenal kicked off the ICC with a win. Followed by a trip across country to Charlotte, NC to take Fiorentina. A youthful side controlled the match and once again Eddie Nketiah stole the headlines with a brace in the 3-0 victory.
Last night’s ICC finale with Real Madrid had all the ridiculousness of an over-presented preseason friendly. Two red cards, a PK bouncing off both posts, the Gareth Bale saga, and PKs to decide the winner. Because you can’t have a draw in the illustrious ICC.
