IKTS Week 13: E la nave va!

Madness! I fully understand if the powers to be do not want to listen to the fans and sack Emery. Why do you need David O'Leary to keep an eye on Raul Sanllehi while he keeps an eye on Unai Emery amounts to cleaning your right ear with your left auricular: correct fifth finger, but the wrong process. In my very really extremely humble opinion, Arsenal must sack Emery a while ago because of depreciation: the values of most players is going down fast: Xhaka, Torreira, Auba, Lacazette, and others. It is a business decision, one Don Corleone would have made easily. Some good news in that Jose Enrique is heading back to the Spanish National Team, making the swap between the current coach and another Spaniard who is equally unprepared to deal with Arsenal in the Premier League a bullet that we have dodged, because of the rumors of the relationship between Raul and Jose being solid. The title of this post is inspired by a famous movie; it is a sarcastic title for a movie full of irony. On the field, we resisted the Leicester onslaught until midway through the second half. Manchester City lost. Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool registered wins by differences of two goals, while the noisy neighbors were lucky to draw at home against Sheffield United. We are now in sixth place, but could go down to 12th, 13th, or 14th if we lose our home game against Southampton. On another hand, we have lost Le Poulain Francais for the second time this season while sammy dog has missed another week of picks. We hope both will come back. Of note, sammy dog was last season's IKTS winner.

Scores for the week:

Geaux_HR 9 (2)

hansdampf 7 (1)

Clever pick of the week: hansdampf predicted the Liverpool win over Manchester City by the exact difference of two goals, scoring two points. None of the other participants had the correct outcome, and they all scored bagels.

Crisis pick of the week: Only Ray from Norfolk did not predict a win for Chelsea, hauling a donut. All the other participants predicted the correct outcome.
