Well that happened. This match had it all. Clownshoes defending. Arsenal blowing a 2-goal lead for the second time this season in the Premier League. VAR shenanigans. Granit Xhaka telling the fans to f#$% off. The supporters singing Mesut Özil’s name. And apparently Josh Kroenke was in attendance to see it all.

It’s an unfortunate time to be an Arsenal supporter — things at the club have gone from bad to toxic. It’s not a bad time to be an Arsenal writer / blog — the #content almost writes itself. You’ve got a manager on the scalding hot-seat, one of the five captains not getting a kit in weeks, another possibly about to be stripped of the armband, and a fanbase that might riot at any minute. So much banter.

We’re looking forward to seeing how you feel about today’s performance. It will at least be funny in a sad, possibly rage-inducing way.
