They couldn’t really even make it interesting, until the end. After 75 minutes of uninspired, turgid football, Nicolas Pepe came on, provided two moments of absolute brilliance, and just like that Arsenal won a game they looked very likely to lose. The win keeps them on top of Group F and in good shape to win the group with three games left.
