Arsenal continue their grueling start to the season with a trip to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea.

The Gunners’ game against Manchester City last weekend didn’t go quite to plan—they had some communication and timing issues as they adjusted to Unai Emery’s system—and it is early enough in the new manager’s tenure that we may see some improvement from week to week. We may also see a significant formation or personnel change for this game; for us, it’s still a little early to predict what Emery will do for any given match.

Most of the Gunners are healthy and available for the match today, with the exception of left back, where Arsenal are down at least two players. Sead Kolasinac is out with a knee injury, and Ainsley Maitland-Niles sustained a fractured fibula during the match against City last week, which will keep him out for six weeks or so. Nacho Montreal trainer with the team this week, but it is unclear whether he is ready to start.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will be without Cesc Fabregas, who picked up a knee injury during preseason friendlies.
