Apart from that first game on Thursday, this tournament has been a ton of fun - close games, late winners, heartbreak, and a Cristiano Ronaldo hat trick, and that was just the first two days.
Today sees two more heavyweights - and a couple middleweights - kick things off today, as Groups E and F get under way. The day’s first match sees Joel Campbell and Costa Rica take on Serbia, followed an hour later by holders Germany kicking off their title defense against Mexico. The day concludes with Brazil playing Switzerland, and starting their mission to redeem themselves after their, uh, showing in 2014.
Pour yourself a bowl of cereal, make up a mimosa or two, and enjoy the games! all non-US broadcast info can be found at livesoccer.tv. Stream given is the Spanish-language stream, but it’s free to US viewers; there are many paid options available, as well as the dodgy ones we won’t talk about here.
