Well, here we are. Arsene’s last game at the house he built as Arsenal manager. Let’s hope he sends himself off into the future with a good result - even if “the future” is the two remaining Premier League games in the next week. This one is for all the emotional marbles - his last ever game will be sad, sure, but this is the last time we’ll see him at the Emirates in the familiar blazer/sweater vest/puffy jacket (delete as appropriate), so there’s a lot of sadness here too.
My most fervent wish? That he wears the puffy jacket and struggles with the zipper. Just a little nod to the fun part of the last decade. Oh, and a win. A win would be great.
