As you may have seen by now, Arsenal’s designated “Cup keeper” David Ospina is not actually Cup Keeping today. Petr Cech got the start against CSKA, and after the announcement, we found out why:

So it’s not a case where Wenger rides one horse to 200 yards before the finish, only to switch horses right before the end, or maybe I don’t understand how horse racing works. Either way, it would appear that Ospina will probably, given that he recovers from his injury by then, be back in goal next week for the Moscow leg of this tie.
Side note: Does a “cup keeper” actually, you know, keep the cups? If you go to David Ospina’s house, are they all there? If so, I want to go to David Ospina’s house, because that’d be cool to see, and he’d probably have some good wine and jamon iberico for his guests.
