Well, here we are, Arsene Wenger’s last trip to Old Trafford. I said this last week when he announced his leaving, but if Manchester United don’t have a guard of honor waiting for him with the current squad on one side and Ferguson/Giggs/Scholes/Beckham/Schmeichel/Neville/Neville/Keane etc on the other, they will have failed at doing a good tribute.
Anyway, after Thursday’s disappointment, I have a feeling this match will be more of the same, particularly if Wenger rests some of the players involved in that match with an eye on the away leg. I hope Arsenal can send Wenger out of Old Trafford one last time with a win, but I fear that this visit will be like more recent Arsenal and not vintage Wenger Arsenal when it comes to a result. PROVE ME WRONG, ARSENAL.
