We got our first look at what Arsenal will look like at the Emirates next season, as images of the 2018-2019 home kit surfaced online today, courtesy of Footy Headlines. Take a peek here:

It’s really hard to mess up a home Arsenal jersey. All you need is a clean design and a red and white shirt. And that’s what you have here, except for the bizarre candy-cane looking armbands on each sleeve. It’s an odd choice, at best. Next season is the last year of Arsenal’s deal with PUMA, meaning this will be the round of jerseys we’ll see from them, something many fans will be more than pleased with. Could this be PUMA’s parting shot to Arsenal fans after years of criticism? If so, The Short Fuse is not letting them get away with it unscathed.

Nevertheless, if this is indeed next season’s jersey, I don’t think it’s a disaster. Like I said, it’s really hard to mess up a home Arsenal jersey.
