Well, here we are. The first game of the ending of an era. I’m really glad that this is a home game, because I can’t wait to see and hear the reaction when Wenger takes the pitch. In addition to the obvious things about the direction of the club, I think one other good thing that comes out of Arsene’s announcement is that it will give fans going to the game something to care about and shout/cheer/sing about - we can officially no longer take Arsene Wenger for granted, so let’s let the outpouring of love and affection begin.
Oh, and then there’s a game. They should probably play that too.
