After securing a spot in the Europa League semifinals, the Gunners head back to England for a Premier League match against Newcastle.
Arsenal have been playing well in recent weeks—their draw against CSKA Moscow last Thursday was actually their worst result in seven games—and they’ll want to keep the run of good form going today. Arsene Wenger will probably do a lot of rotating ahead of the Europa League matches against Atletico Madrid, but part of that will be bringing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back into the lineup, which will only help the Gunners.
On the other hand, Granit Xhaka may get a little more time to rest after catching the flu last week, and Aaron Ramsey should also get a day off after suffering (and playing through) a gruesome, staple-worthy calf injury. There should also be some rotation in defense.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are tenth in the league and have won their past three games, and they’ll have their full team available to play today.
