Finally, we have a match to watch.
After a two and a half-week layoff, Arsenal return to Premier League play with a home match against Stoke. Although it can be tough to keep up good form over a break like that, the Gunners have won their last three matches—one of which was against Watford, who have given Arsenal some trouble in the past, and the other two against Milan to advance to the next round of Europa League competition. Stoke, on the other hand, haven’t won in seven games—their last win came way back in January. Although Stoke are another one of those troublesome teams for Arsenal, the Gunners are clearly the better side right now, and Stoke’s form at the Emirates hasn’t been very good in a long time.
Alexandre Lacazette rejoined training over the break after a knee injury and will be available to play, although he may not start after such a long layoff. Aaron Ramsey had a minor surgical procedure done over the break, but it was minor enough that he is fully fit to play, and Jack Wilshere, who picked up a small issue while with the English national team, should also be good to go now.
Stoke will be without Maxim Choupo-Moting, who has a groin injury; Geoff Cameron, with a hamstring problem; and Stephen Ireland, who has a calf issue.
